1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Life Butler - SuperApp ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Life Butler - SuperApp is a platform that provides a unified ecosystem of modular "Butlers"—specialized micro-applications that help you manage different aspects of your life, including but not limited to expenses, health, travel, goals, and social activities. The Service includes both built-in Butlers provided by us and third-party Butlers developed by external developers.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
  • Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

4. User Data and Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you create, upload, or store through the Service ("User Data"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your User Data solely to provide and improve the Service. You can export your User Data at any time, and you can delete your account and User Data at any time through the Service settings.

We do not claim ownership of your User Data, and we will not use your User Data for purposes other than providing the Service without your explicit consent, except as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Violate or infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other proprietary rights.
  • Upload, transmit, or store any content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems connected to the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
  • Use automated systems (e.g., bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our express written permission.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels on the Service.

6. Third-Party Butlers and Integrations

The Service may include third-party Butlers developed by external developers. We are not responsible for the content, functionality, or practices of third-party Butlers. Your use of third-party Butlers is subject to any terms and conditions provided by the respective developers. We do not endorse, warrant, or assume liability for any third-party Butler or its developers.

When you enable a third-party Butler, you may grant it access to certain User Data. You are responsible for reviewing and understanding what data access you grant to third-party Butlers. You can revoke access at any time through the Service settings.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, functionality, and content (excluding User Data), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our express written permission.

If you are a developer building Butlers using our platform, you retain ownership of your Butler code and content, subject to your compliance with these Terms and any applicable developer agreements.

8. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from errors, interruptions, or security vulnerabilities. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from such modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations.

9. Fees and Payment

Certain features of the Service may be offered on a paid subscription basis. If you purchase a subscription:

  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription.
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually).
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Service settings, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice to you.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated in our refund policy.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the Service settings. We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service, other users, or our interests.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. We may delete your User Data after a reasonable retention period, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES of MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us, our affiliates, and our respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
